Smooth muscle spasms
This medicine is used to treat the symptoms of conditions associated with spasms.
Constipation, transient bradycardia, dry mouth, flushing, dryness of the skin, photophobia and urinary urgency or retention are the common side effects of this medicine.
This product is contraindicated to use in pregnant women.
Be cautious while using this medicine if you are breastfeeding.
Please avoid driving when taking this medicine as it may affect your ability to drive.
Please avoid consuming alcohol when taking this medicine.
This medicine should be used with caution in Down’s syndrome, in children and in elderly. They should also be used with caution in patients with ulcerative colitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, any other severe gastrointestinal disease, conditions like glaucoma, hypertension and acute heart attack. Be cautious while using this if you have diarrhea.
This medicine is contraindicated to use in patients with myasthenia gravis (a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles, which are responsible for breathing and moving parts of the body, including the arms and legs), paralytic ileus (Obstruction of the intestine due to paralysis of the intestinal muscles), pyloric stenosis (a problem that affects babies between birth and 6 months of age and causes forceful vomiting that can lead to dehydration), toxic megacolon and prostate enlargement.
This medication is used in the treatment of painful muscular conditions as a muscle relaxant.
