Omsana AM 5mg/20mg tablet

Description

Omsana AM tablet is an antihypertensive medicine containing Olmesartan Medoxomil and Amlodipine. It works by relaxing the blood vessels to allow easy flow of blood. Omsana AM is used alone or in combination with other medicines to manage high blood pressure and coronary artery disease.  

Hypertension is a common disease in which the blood pressure in arteries is so high that your heart has to work more than normal. Continuous high blood pressure will eventually cause serious health problems like heart attack, stroke, and kidney failure.

Ingredients

• Olmesartan Medoxomil
• Amlodipine

Directions for use

• Take this medicine by mouth.
• Take this medicine with or without food.
• Take one dose of this medicine, every day.
• Swallow it as a whole, do not crush or chew the medicine.
• Take it at the same time to help you remember.
• Or use it exactly as instructed by your doctor.

Storage

Store at room temperature away from direct heat and sunlight. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Precautions

• Before using this medicine, inform your doctor about your complete medical history especially of heart disease, liver disease, or low blood pressure.
• Inform your doctor about all your current medicines.
• Do not quit this medicine without informing your doctor.
• Do not share this medicine with anyone.

When not to use

Do not use this medicine if you’re allergic to any of its constituents or if you have low blood pressure.

Side effects

Patients using this medicine might experience:

• Headache
• Dizziness
• Flushing
• Swollen ankles
• Pounding heartbeat
• Lightheadedness.

Pregnancy

Only use during pregnancy if the benefits outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Lactation

Not recommended for lactating females. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
