Description

Cefalor is a medicine containing cefaclor. Cefalor is an antibiotic that is used for treating a wide range of bacterial infections. This antibiotic is classified as a cephalosporin. It works by preventing bacteria from growing. This antibiotic is solely used to treat bacterial infections. It is ineffective against viral infections (such as common cold, flu).

Dosage

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed your doctor
• Before using the oral suspension, give it a good shake.
• To measure the suspension, use a spoon or container with a particular marking. Spoons from the kitchen are inaccurate.
• This medicine can be consumed with or without meals.

Store at room temperature away from direct heat and sunlight. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

• May harm beneficial bacteria in your colon or stomach.
• Cefalor is known to produce severe allergic reactions on the skin. If you see any signs like rash, blisters (fluid-filled lumps), or lesions, seek medical help right away.

When not to use

This medicine is not recommended for people who have a history of intolerance to Cefixime or its derivatives.

• Stools with dark or clay colors.
• Acid or sour stomach.
• Excessive gas or air in the stomach.
• Acid reflux.
• Nausea and vomiting.
