Eflornithine is a medicine used for the treatment of excessive facial hair growth (facial hirsutism). It does so by slowing down the growth of unwanted hair.

How frequently should it be used?

It should be applied twice a day over the affected area.

How long should the interval be between the two daily applications?

You are advised to maintain a gap of at least 8 hours between each application.

How long should we wait for a major improvement to occur?

You are advised to wait for at least 4 months. If the improvement fails to happen even after this period, you should then consult your doctor.
