Indications

This medicine is used to treat increased blood pressure in the lungs and for Systemic Sclerosis (hardening and thickening of skin surrounding organs and blood vessels).

Side Effects

Following are the side effects of this medicine: Drowsiness, Upset stomach, Difficulty urinating, Confusion, Slight skin irritation, Headache

Contraindications

Anemia, decreased blood platelets, acute decompensated heart failure (sudden and serious symptoms of heart failure), fluid in the lungs, liver problems, visible water retention in the body, high amount of bilirubin in the blood, abnormal liver function tests, pregnancy, breastfeeding mothers and patients with lung diseases.
