Alendronate is used for the treatment of certain types of bone loss in adults. This medicine works by slowing bone loss and this effect helps maintain strong bones and reduce the risk of broken bones. It is specially used in the treatment of osteoporosis. This medicine belongs to a class of medicines called bisphosphonates.
How To Use
This medicine should be taken oral with water.

The usual dosage is one tablet per day.
